Pioneer of the IT power In The 21st Century
  • Introduction

    Purpose and Goal of Department

    Recently global IT industry is facing many changes with emergence of green IT and integration of IT services. Korean IT industry will lead new technologies and markets with new IT strategies of Korean government which can be summarized in two keywords “Convergence” and “Green”. Computer Science Engineering department has its goal to cultivate professional engineers that are competitive and knowledgeable to lead current and future IT industries through the integrated curriculum of communication, information, electronics engineering, business administration, laws, and civil, social, and cultural areas.

    Features of Department

    1. Integrated curriculum of IT technologies, laws, society, and culture
    2. Various levels of curriculum for basic, core, and application IT technologies
    3. Class with sufficient contents for theory and application
    4. Support for the graduate courses, studying abroad, and certificates(consulting and dedicated class)
    5. Various human networks, such as CEOs, patent agents, and experts, and scholarships

    • Expansion of IT in entire industries such as entertainment, retail, education, health care, finance, construction, and transportation
    • Necessity of high value-added industries including integrated services and planning and design of technologies
