  • Introduction

    The Purpose and Objectives of Department

    With advancement in future automobile industry and keen interests in ICT convergence technology, there is a high demand of professional who can lead convergence and fusion focused industrial structure.

    The Department of Automotive IT Convergence Engineering aims to combine base theory and hands-on education which can be applied in the field. The curriculum includes theoretical and hands-on education in various areas such as mechanical and automotive design and application of automotive IT software engineering.

    The Characteristic of Department

    1. Individual career counseling Service, CDP Program
    2. Support graduate school entrance, studying abroad, earning certificates (counseling, specialized class)
    3. Affiliated with the Department of Automotive Engineering and Division of Mechanical Engineering at Hanyang University

    Industry Overview

    IT industry in domestic market has grown rapidly compared to the international market and in turn, there will be high demands of professionals in IT convergence

    The automotive industry is investing a lot of time and resources in environment-friendly and green smart cars and concentrating on developing cutting-edge technology; predicted market size for IT and automotive convergence industry will be 242 billion dollars in 2018
