  • Introduction

    Introduction

    The real estate market shifting from ‘the period of development’ to ‘the period of management’ and from ‘seller market’ to ‘consumer market’ and the importance of real estate asset management is gradually being emphasized.
    Along with the stream of the times like this, the business opportunity and research scope for real estate asset management are gradually expanding. Therefore, real estate requires a more specialized and strategic approach.
    In other words, there is the need for in-depth understanding of predictability of the economic situation including the real estate market and market flow, real estate financial technique and related laws that can attract the best investment in real estate and a wide knowledge of tax affairs.
    The department is aimed to foster the highest level of asset management experts who can manage real estate comprehensively.
    To put it more concretely, the goal of the department is to teach students practical-business expertise and technique which maximize the value of real estate. The department tries to approach real estate from the asset management point of view to establish and implement economic, financial strategies, beyond the level of routine management business throughout all process. Before purchasing real estate, we educate students on due diligence of assets, routine management of real estate, appropriated renovation or decision on whether all-out redevelopment should be done, investigation of investment performance and increase or decrease in value, adjustment of asset structure, debt adjustment, and decision-making of strategic sale, etc.

    Educational Contents

    • Acquisition of practical business, such as real estate and economy as the basis of asset management, real estate market theory, real estate assessment, an estate auction, real estate consulting, and real estate tax affairs, etc.
    • Acquisition of asset management theory by real estate use and practical management plan.
    • Understanding of real estate asset management, redevelopment and reconstruction in relation to real estate management and operation activities.
    • Understanding of real estate consulting and real estate brokerage in relation to real estate distribution activities.
