The wave of knowledge and information in the 21st century has brought significant changes to our society, and universities must continually strive to adapt to these new digital environments. To lead the growing trend of remote education, our university was established in 2002 with five departments and 1,000 students.

By 2022, marking our 20th anniversary, we have grown into Korea’s largest cyber university, with approximately 38,000 graduates and 18,000 current students across 40 departments. Additionally, in March 2010, we once again changed the educational landscape by launching Korea’s first graduate school master’s program at a cyber university.

Rather than resting on our laurels as the leader in cyber education, we recently introduced "HYCU Next VISION 2030+" in celebration of our 20th anniversary, preparing for a new era of growth and development. We are dedicated to nurturing creative professionals who possess both practical knowledge and the wisdom of coexistence.
