As the development of new technologies in the health field is accelerating, companies in the medical field with various service models are being established. Thus, there is an increasing need for more professionals in the field. For its part, Hanyang Cyber University’s Department of Health Administration provides support for students to acquire various certificates to help them better understand the characteristics of the Korean health industry and acquire the necessary management and industry analysis skills. By providing students opportunities to learn the latest theories and skills in the rapidly growing health industry, students can later seek positions as hospital administrators, health insurance company employees, insurance review and evaluators, health educators, and hospital coordinators.

To do so, the department endeavors to play an active part in the health field with the aim of training health industry experts by allowing them to learn about health administration, medical management, health economy, and health policy in an integrated manner. Health theory education is provided by experienced faculty members in courses that can be quickly applied in the field. There are also offline special lectures and practice related to health education so students can gain experience with on-site diagnosis and have opportunities to establish networks with field experts.
