About the Department of Japanese Language
The Department of Japanese Language seeks to educate and train students to be future experts of the Japanese language, while instilling in them a global perspective.
To help students contribute toward the development of the 4th Industrial Revolution era, the department offers a wide range of courses covering the knowledge
and theories on Japanese society, history, culture, economy, literature, and the practical Japanese ability to actively cope with changes in the ever-changing global era.
The goal of the Department of Japanese Language is to produce professionals who can contribute to the international community using their academic competencies to apply
them in any Japan or Japanese-related field. The practical knowledge gained by the students can be used in daily life and work, in a variety of situations.

The Department of Japanese Language at Hanyang Cyber University operates various programs to improve students’ proficiency in Japanse language and communication. Through student exchange, cyber class exchange, short-term language training support, and overseas global programs, the department aims to cultivate Japanese language and education experts by providing practical Japanese language learning courses for immediate adaptation and use in Japan and Japanese language settings.
This helps to advance into society as a next-generation Japanese expert who will lead the social and cultural exchange between Korea and Japan.
