CEO of Pyeongyang Cold Noodles specialty store, Seogwanmyeonok, Hanwoo Dining Ulleung

For the past 28 years since I entered the food industry, I have continued to consider the restaurant business as my vocation. For a long time after starting a business, the longing for learning has been always in my mind. But I’ve been always thinking about it because of work or time and because conditions do not allow. I thought it was an opportunity from the sky as I was exposed to information from the department of food service business, called the Department of Hospitality Management of Hanyang Cyber University.
Logically organizing the accumulated know-how accumulated through experience in the field with the theoretical knowledge learned at school, applying it to the field, and leading the result to achievements as planned, I felt that I was living a new life with a joyful and rewarding day by day. Taking management knowledge, accounting and financial management, service, marketing, and liberal arts courses that were not enough, it is a day full of excitement and expectation, asking myself 'What else will I learn tomorrow?'
Like the advisor's words, 'Efforts do not betray you. Opportunities do not come easily. If you don't prepare, you won't have any chance or success', I end my work today and go to the online classroom with a dream and hope that I am stepping closer to the goal of success toward the goal of Korea's best food industry business expert by making efforts and preparing for the future opportunities to come.

CEO of Food Service Division of Happy 1 Beonji

I entered the food industry business at the age of 25, and for 15 years already, I have managed 8 directly-managed stores, but when I went step by step by creating a system and leading the staff in a business that had been operated in an old fashioned manner, a stagnation came at some point. My desperate heart, 'Ah! I am lacking learning. “I want to learn more” led me to the Department of Hotel & Food Service Management of Hanyang Cyber University. Thanks to outstanding seniors and juniors in the department's food service industry, the joy of being together in online as well as offline meetings, and the professors who convey their knowledge more vividly than books, I am going to work with a joyful heart and I am also walking the path of a food industry expert who applies the lectures I learned yesterday.
    Student Yoon suk

    CEO of Namdoyedam

I have a lot of thoughts about whether I, who started studying late, can follow the course of the class, but I think that my passion for learning is second to none. When I can't take classes properly because of time, I sit in front of my computer until late to study. Customer satisfaction is increasing in the field by practicing the contents learned in class as much as possible. Learning made it possible for me to not just run a restaurant, but expand my business in various fields. I will study hard not to neglect learning for the businesses currently envisioned, such as the establishment of a food manufacturing factory and expansion of a direct management store.
