  • ※ The subjects marked are part of the subjects for obtaining a certificate for Nursery teacher Level 2
  • ※ Since 2017, the 'child welfare' of the Department of Social Welfare has not been recognized as a subject of certification for child care teachers.
  • ※ Since 2017, take the 'CHILD RIGHT AND WELFARE' course of Department of Child Studies & Education
  • ※ 'CASE MANAGEMENT' is for third and fourth graders. Only students who have completed the 'THEORIES FOR PRACTICING SOCIAL WELFARE' and the 'PRACTICE SKILLS IN SOCIAL WELFARE' can apply for the course.
  • ※ The subjects marked are mandatory among social worker level 2 certification, so you must take them.
    For detailed instructions on obtaining a certificate for 'Social worker Level 2', refer to 'Academic > Certificate > Social worker.

<Requirements for social welfare field training>

  • Those who have completed or are expected to complete the course of <The Practice & Field of Social Welfare> (<Understanding of Social Welfare>)
  • Those who have completed or are expected to complete more than six courses out of essential courses to be taken for the Social Worker Level 2 License in this school
  • Total accumulated credits (at the time of submitting the application for practice) : Those who have acquired or are expected to acquire 104 credits or more
  • Those who have completed or are expected to complete volunteer activities for 15 hours or longer after the point of admission to this school
    (Look through the postings in the Community of Social Welfare about the types of volunteer activities acceptable for it!)

Those who have applied or have not applied for either a minor or double major: Qualifications for application are applied identically.

Those who will graduate from a different department are not eligible for practice, so if it is needed, it is essential for them to defer their graduation.

At the point of submitting the application for practice, they should satisfy all of the four conditions written above.
(Regarding your application for practice in general, refer to the positing titled as ‘Guidance for the Course of Practice’ in the Community of Social Welfare as it provides clear explanation.)

Those who are on a leave of absence cannot apply for practice by rule.
(If you are a student on a leave of absence, don’t forget to ask about that to the department office in advance.)

Those who are expected to take, acquire, or complete the courses are the ones that are approved for practice conditionally.
