Cultivating Creative Leaders to Lead the Tourism, Hotel, and Aviation Industries

To meet the demands of the times for tourism facilities, hotel facilities, and aviation services, the Department of Tourism, Hotel, & Airline Service aims to train creative leaders who will lead the tourism, hotel, and aviation industries with creative insight and a global view.

Educational Objective

The number of global tourists is approaching 1.5 billion annually, while the figure for tourists entering Korea has grown rapidly from 5 million in 2000 to 15 million in recent years. As a result, the demand for professionals who will lead the tourism, hotel, and aviation industries is also increasing significantly. In response to the demands of the times, the Department of Tourism, Hotel, and Aviation Services seeks to cultivate creative leaders who have knowledge and insight in the fields of tourism, hotel, and aviation.

Hanyang Cyber University's Department of Tourism, Hotel, and Aviation Services provides various benefits for new and transfer students as well as current students and graduates. Through HYCU’s online and offline support system, students can enjoy systematically design, highly convenient studying environment. After graduation, opportunities await including seeking employment, applying to graduate school, engaging in startup business such as tour or travel agencies, and so on. For those wishing to enter Hanyang University's Graduate School of International Tourism after graduation, priority is given to HYCU graduates after receiving a recommendation from the head of the department. Additionally, a 20% tuition scholarship is available.
